  • Colonial style house in Malindi, sleeps 12 (6 in the main house and 6 in the Lamu style Guest House).
  • 1 double room and two twins in the main house, 3 twins in the Guest House, all en-suite.
  • This charming style house with a Makuti thatched roof was originally built in 1990 and completely refurbished in 2010.
  • The property lies on Casuarina Point, just outside Malindi and is siutuated within the conservation area of the Marine Park. The property is less than a 2 minute walk from the beach and the Indian Ocean.
  • On the ground floor there is one large living room, an open air, but covered, dining area with table and chairs for 12 around a Fratino refectory table and open covered terraces with chairs, seating areas, sofas, tables and day-beds. There is an additional downstairs loo and a storage office (study).
  • On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with two large single beds and bathroom and on the first floor, there is another guest double bedroom, with two large single beds and bathroom and the Master Bedroom, with a large double bed and bathroom.
  • All bedrooms are furnished with antique Lamu furniture or antique Italian furniture, with sofas, chairs and tables. All beds are fitted with mosquito nets.
  • The Guest house is adjacent to the pool and has 3 twin bedrooms each with there own bathroom. The guest house is furnished more in the holiday style - simple, but comfortable.
  • There is a large roof terrace and a large covered verandah leading to the pool. Barbeques can be enjoyed in the covered verandah area, which faces onto the pool.
  • TV/DVD in master bedroom. Television with Dstv package, music players and a host of board games available.
  • The whole garden, in which the two properties lie, comprises nearly 2 acres of tropical trees and plants including frangipani.
  • The property is walled in and accessed by secure gates at both extremities.
  • The large swimming pool is chlorine-free and has its own "pool area" with day bed and numerous sun-beds.
  • The cook/manager can order fresh food to be delivered (including freshly caught fish), or he can visit Malindi Town for shopping. The main town has supermarkets and wine shops galore.
  • Meals can be served at a long Fratino refectory table in a huge open verandah or on the terrace of the guest house or around the pool.
  • The fully equipped kitchens and food storage areas are adjacent to the dining area and have freezers, fridges, suitable cookers, cooking utensils and tableware.
  • Brick oven Pizza & BBQ.
  • There is also a washing machine in the utility complex.
  • 3 resident dogs - no visiting pets allowed
